What is the Lord up to?!?!
Well…it’s been a strange turn of
events! Last blog I told you of how I went from Ireland church
internship to Real Life leading. I thought the Lord was leading me to Cambodia but then got asked to do the Swaziland
trip! The Lord walked me through surrendering Cambodia to Him! So I
started preparing for Swaziland. Researching the country, getting to
know my co-leader, packing, and praying over my team! Well by turn of
events I got asked Thursday to lead Cambodia again!
So I sat there laughing at the way the
Lord works and wondering what He would have me do. I didn’t want to
say yes to the Cambodia spot just because it was Cambodia. I love
Cambodia and have a huge passion for the people there, but now my
heart was looking forward to Swaziland. Oh boy! He had me leaning
into Him to hear His voice once again!
In all honesty my first instinct was to
stick with Swaziland. But I felt the Lord saying to trust Him once
again. Step out and know that He has good plans for me. That He would
be with me wherever I would go! Plus I love how the Lord is moving in
Cambodia and its the place He broke my heart the most for His people
this past year. He must be up to something!
So…I’m going to Cambodia! I leave
home in 9 days! Crazy! I love it!
I still do need to raise about $400!
