The devil is a f*@ker. Yeah…that’s right. I just typed that. I’m not one to promote profanity but I think If profanity is ever appropriate it is when dealing with satan. We don’t talk a lot about him in the church. And I think he has something to do with that. We either don’t recognize him and therefore don’t give him the credit for the crap he creates or we fear him. Either way, we are giving him more power than he has. He works against us by telling us lies.
Satan has told me lies for years and I’m tired of believing them. And when I believe them and listen to them I am trapped in the things of this world. I become hopeless and fearful. Even angry.
No more!!! It is in Christ I have the power and am able to see the truth to trample those lies and extinguish the devil’s flaming arrows.
I am ready for battle. God is already the victor but I will fight until He returns again. I am no longer prisoner to the lies that I am unloveable, that I have no purpose, or that I will only be satisfied through a career, relationship, marriage, body type, or even religious knowledge. I’m tired of Satan’s lie that God is not enough. I will not find satisfaction in the things of this world because God is life! It is in Christ alone I live.
So Satan…You can take your damn lies and go to Hell where you belong. You have no claim on me!

And He wants all of me. He loves all of me. And He calls me outside myself. His heart
breaks for those trapped in darkness. He is crying for them to awake and be free…its what He came for! He is calling us to get off the bench(dare i say pews) and get in the game. Strap on the armour and ask for the authority He offers. He’s waiting. The world is desperate for the power, grace, and truth of God. And satan is clever. He has blinded the world to even realizing their need for God. I am desperate to see Our Father’s kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven.
Jesus told His disciples…
“And proclaim as you go, saying,’the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons” Matthew 10:7-8
…We are His disciples
“Fianally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the FULL armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God…stand therefore having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. in all circumstances take up the shield of faith which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one, and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God,
praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer an supplication.” Ephesians 6: 10-18

Also…I do not mean to offend anyone by my choice of words. I do not believe profanity to be used against each other, to degrade, or out of anger. I just think if profanity ever is appropriate it is when dealing with satan.
