I come to you today with some exciting news!!  I wanted to update you on how support raising is coming along, to date I am at $2,816.55.  This means that I am $700 shy of reaching my first goal of $3,500 by Training Camp in May.  Praise The Lord and thank you for your support!   I pray that the Lord blesses each of you as you support me through prayers and financially.  The Lord continues to provide and bless me as I continue on the journey to The World Race.

There are a few needs that I am praying for and ask you to be in prayer for how the Lord is going to provide.  In order to travel to these 11 countries, I need to get vaccinations to stay safe and healthy.  This means I have to see a travel doctor, due to the fact that I am traveling to so many countries my family doctor doesn’t have the time I need to research all the countries.  The expense of this visit is going to be around $600, for a $49 consultation and then the cost of each vaccination.    My appointment is for Monday February 18, which is next Monday at 6:30pm.  I ask you be in prayer for the finances, as well as, any nerves to be calmed about receiving these.

My second expense for The World Race is having to purchase Travel Insurance, this is required by Adventure in Missions.  I currently have insurance through my employer but will be leaving for this mission, so I can't get it through my current provider.  There is a company that Adventures in Missions uses and suggests, this is who I am going to go through to purchase my insurance.  The cost is about $350 for the whole year.  This will provide me with what I need, if Lord willing I need to seek medical attention while in the nations.   Please be in prayer for the Lord to provide a way for me to obtain this required part of the mission.

Ways to be in prayer for me:
  • Support raising!!
  • Visit to Travel Doctor
  • Obtaining Travel Insurance
  • My focus as I finish serving The Lord at my current job
  • Training Camp May 18th-25th
  • Alumni World Race gathering Thursday February 21 at Amelie’s in NoDa, for new racers to come out and get a glimpse of life on the Race
  • Hearts of the 4 squads launching for mine in July, this is about 200 men and women between the ages of 21 and 35.  Decisions to make in regards to if the Race is a true calling or not.
