This month my team is working with pastor Raul at Hope Church Romania, helping him with logistics. We help out in anyway we can to serve him through helping with office work, organizing, promoting the church and projects through Facebook, writing emails, assisting with the after school program, and various other tasks as they happen. For the first time in my life I am working in an office setting and spending my day starring at a computer screen. I am enjoying the work I am doing and all the ways I am involved in bringing kingdom to Draganesti-Olt, Romania. My month has looked very different than any other month so far and a new line of work that I am involved in. All I know is that I am getting through each day because the strength I receive through Jesus Christ. These days bring new challenges daily but I also I have seen I am made to be relational with people not computers. I have learned the importance of having everything in order so that ministry can be done in an orderly and effective way to impact the world.

Every month on the Race has involved interacting with people and having the ability to build relationships. This month my relationships are a bit different, they are with missionaries and the staff that work at the church. In just a week and a half, I have developed many relationships and heard so many stories of God’s faithfulness. The people here have even encouraged me to continue to grow my heart of my return to Nepal. My time here is also a chance for me to encourage, pour into, and invest in the life’s of the missionaries that are here full-time doing God’s work.

I have grown such a grateful heart for my ministry this month and the opportunity to get a taste of what it looks like to run a church/ministry. On the World Race, everything has always been planned for me, from how I travel to who the ministry contact will be when I get to the country. Having the details already worked out, makes my life easier and allows me to really invest in wherever I am serving. I am so thankful for this month to see all the work behind making ministry flow and ensure everyone is active in the community with a missionary.

The Lord has given me this heart to flow into the next season of my life, which will be a 10-month internship in Kathmandu, Nepal. This will begin in August, daily ministry will be set up for me but I will have to independently seek the Lord to see what He has for me daily. It will be up to me to discern and decide how to follow what the Lord has said.I will have the assistance of leadership, “The Boss”- Rahul Thapa, local missionaries, other interns, and all those around me to support me while I’m there. I am very excited to see what the Lord has for this next season and all He is doing now to prepare me.

I would like to give a shout out to the AIM office in Gainsville, Georgia for making my travels these 9 months as smooth as they can be. These travels typically aren’t flawless but I have always ended at the desired destination. I don’t even know all the people who make things possible for myself and Q squad but thank you! From the bottom of my heart I am forever grateful for all the ways you have and continue to serve me while I am on the World Race.
