What an incredible month of ministry God has provided this month for Team Leo in Kathmandu, Nepal.  This month was similar to last month in India, as everyday looked different for ministry.  We never went back to the same location or saw the same people to pour into.  Instead each day was a new adventure from sharing Jesus on the streets or parks, visiting a Buddhist nunnery, visiting a leper colony, and spending a week in the village of Chitwan working with a local church there.  My time here in Nepal has flown by but has been so amazing and has proven to my favorite on my Race.

My last day of ministry involved going to a local park to spend the morning sharing Jesus with whoever we encountered there.  It started that we would talk to individuals as a team and very quickly we were split into pairs sharing Jesus with crowds that has assembled.  All month we had one translator with us and most people at this park spoke Nepalese.  Being split up into 3 sets of pairs made it difficult to communicate with all those around us but God provided translators for each of us.  There was a church that had come out this day to share the Gospel as well and God provided us with someone to clearly share the name of Jesus.  It was so amazing to see God continue to provide in my daily life and meet our needs to share His wonderful name.

We were wrapping up the day and had met back up with the other team who we had spent the month with.  Immediately a squad mate got my attention to say that she recognized someone who was in the crowd listening.  Neither of us had officially met this gentleman but had seen in Saturday night soaking at the Gethsemane House of Prayer.  Not only had we seen him there but also we had heard his story about how God had healed him twice and from this he has been completely transformed in the name of Jesus.  He has given his life over to Jesus and become a living testimony of the healing powers of God.  While we were talking with him through a translator another man walked up to us to ask us about Christianity.  This man spoke almost perfect English and we were able to very easily talk to him about what we believe and the name of Jesus.  He was asking all kinds of questions about church in America, what we believe in, and we shared about our belief in Jesus.  This man is Hindu and we were very clear with him that following Jesus means worshipping only Him.

The Lord used both of us to speak to this man and share with him but when we were wrapping up I motioned to the first gentleman who had been healed by God.  We shared with him how God had healed him twice and they began talking about what God had done.  His eyes immediately lit up and something in him clicked in the name of Jesus.  I’m not sure what they said or what was shared but I know that this man clearly heard the name of Jesus and the Gospel this day.  It was there in this park that God very clearly revealed to me the Body of Christ that is so evident in Nepal.  I have been a part of this body for my month in Nepal but this particular day my eyes were opened to what community was present in Nepal.  This community and body are doing amazing work in this nation of Nepal.  It was such an honor to come alongside them to do Kingdom work for the month.  I continue to pray over this nation and for radical revival among the strongholds here.

As much as I have fallen in love with the nation of Nepal, on Sunday I fly to Romania for month 9 and begin the last 3 months of the World Race.  What an amazing experience and opportunity it has been to bring Kingdom to the nations.  I am so thankful for this time, these 11 months to serve God among the least of these.  I ask for prayers for the next 3 months of continual focus, choosing into the Race every single day, what God has for me and Q squad, and the reality of re-entry to America in 3 months.  I have experienced so many wonderful things these months on the field and know that coming home will be an adjustment.  But I am so excited to see each of you and see what God has for me in the next season of my life!  As always, thanks for the love, support, and continual prayers as God continues to use me daily for His Kingdom and Glory.
