Well I’m finally here in our first destination in Manilla Phillipines. I’m ready to give everything I have that the Lord has for me here. The only thing I could think of when I stepped foot into Manilla was that I am so excited to be here and feel as though I am home. I know I have only been here for one day or technically two days, but that is the feeling I felt when I stepped foot into Africa a few months ago and did not want to come home. I’m ready to give my heart to these children of God. I took a walk this morning around town and just fell in love with the people and children. I kept thinking wow there is so much to give to these people. I cannot wait to pour my heart out on these people with God’s love in the next few weeks in this town. There are a few that God has put on my heart while I’m here to pour out on.
As I sit here looking down into the town I keep thinking of the verse that the Lord gave me a few weeks ago sitting back with a dear friend and the Lord was just pouring His heart on us and this is one of the verses that He gave to us.
Jeremiah 6:16
This is what the Lord Says:
Stand at the crossroads and look;
Ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is,
and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, we will not walk in it.
This is just a small verse that the Lord gave to us and it’s so powerful and explains everything. Here I was standing at the crossroads and looking up to God and asking what do you have for me Lord and where do you want me to go? Well here I am finally once in my life and feel like I have the most peace in my life and don’t feel like I have anything holding me back for what He has for me.
