As of today, November 21, 2006 …
my support account totals
$12,098!!!!
That’s right folks … this amount, plus several hundred more in pledges, has
ALMOST put me over my support goal of
$13,000 … hurray!
Sorry this has been such a
HUGE jump from my last update.
I have reasons.
As of my last financial post near the end of September, I was sitting at around
$4,000.
My online account was not updated after that until the end of October.
Needless to say, many donations came in during that month.
I was at about
$10,000 at the end of last month.
And as of this week … my online account was updated and this is where I stand!
I know that I have not had the opportunity to update ya’ll until now, but I just wanted to share this

However … (ha. there’s a catch!)
… I will continue to accept any financial gifts as they come.
For anything over and beyond the initial goal of
$13,000, I will be reimbursed for start-up costs such as traveler’s insurance, vaccinations and other medical expenses, travel to and from training, travel to the starting point ( Harlingen, TX), and travel from the ending point ( Los Angeles, CA).
I expect this to run anywhere from
$1,500-$2,000.
If you feel led to still give and have not had the opportunity to do so, please still consider it or another option such as giving to another World Racer.
