This week, in case you didn’t catch it in the title, has been a stretching week.
For several different reasons, our time here this week has been quite the
learning experience.
Don’t get me wrong, while I recognize this as a
trying thing, I definitely recognize it as a
good thing as well.
A growth opportunity for both myself and my team.

It’s almost as if we jumped into ministry this month without
really understanding what we were doing or what the Lord’s plan was for us.
Early this week we pretty much had to stop and take time out to re-group and re-evaluate.
It was a much needed time of prayer … for our teams, our ministry, and the community of Palenque as well.
Not only did it re-energize us, but I believe that the Lord heard our prayers and paved the way for the rest of the week after we finally put Him at the forefront of the ministry.
You can check out the rest of my team’s blogs as well as the Team Zeo blogs to read more about our ministry this week.

In addition, it has definitely been fascinating to see the lessons we have all experienced as a larger group.
Living in community with 30 people day in and day out has been quite interesting.
  We daily experience
everything together … joys, struggles, lessons, growth.
We are basically all still trying to figure out not only ourselves, but ourselves
within this community as well.
I find it funny that we are already to the point of knowing whose dishes are whose after meal times.
And that’s only at week three!
I can’t imagine how much we are going to know of one another at the end of month ten or eleven.
At times it is hard to continually be around this many people, but I feel privileged to experience this type of community in this way.
Like I said earlier … sometimes hard, but usually
good at the exact same time.

That’s about it for now … Thanks for keeping up with me.
  Love you
all and miss you terribly.
I would love to hear from you!
  Much love.
