Time here in Mexico is quickly coming to a close.
We head out on Friday to meet up with the rest of the World Race team and we will debrief as a large group on Saturday.
On Sunday the next leg of the race begins!
The only information we have so far is that we will be receiving an envelope on Saturday night with the instructions for this next section of travels.
The race will technically end
somewhere in Gualemala.
From there, the tentative plan includes five days of work in a hospital in Guatemala before Team B will move on to Nicaragua.
From there, however, we have just learned that my team, Agapetos, will be moving on to
COSTA RICA!
I know, pretty crazy … this is all definitely news to me as well.
We just found out this morning that our team will be working with a pastor there named Carlos Gonzalez.
Not sure what exactly the month will entail, but needless to say, we are super-excited.
Please pray for safety in travel and that the Lord would go before us and begin to prepare the way for our work in Costa Rica.

I want to thank you for all of your prayers thus far this month … our time here in Mexico has been incredible!
The Lord is doing
big things in both churches here and we have truly been blessed to be a part of it all.
The people that we have met here – from Eleazar and Marta, to Noe and his family, to all of the youth at De Olivo – have been such an encouragement and pleasure to get to know.
Continue to pray for both churches as they continue to reach out to the community of Palenque.
Pray that leaders would be raised up in both fellowships and that true discipleship would begin to take place with the new believers.

I’m continually amazed that I get to be a part of this all.
I feel like the people here have loved on me more and given me more than I have been able to give back.
Interesting how that works, huh?
I’ve loved this opportunity to observe the Mexican culture and learn from the people.
I’ve loved everything here.
From the fresh baked sweet breads at the local bakery … to the long lunch breaks and siestas … to the emphasis on the community and family … to the altogether slower paced daily life.
It’s been a
blessing to live and experience a new culture and different way of life.
Something I would definitely recommend.

Anyway, I’ve included some random pictures of our last week here in Mexico … I look forward to talking to you from Costa Rica!
Love and blessings to each of you.
