"Hello Cape Town! You are beautiful!"
His goodness overwhelms me sometimes. When I look around and see the Lord's beauty EVERYWHERE it just leaves me without accurate words to begin to describe what He has surrounded me in.
I will try to paint a picture, and possibly show you a picture, of where I am found doing His work in a new way. I live minutes from bright blue oceans that are surrounded by a landscape of mountains. Really, it is breath taking.
Ministry too is both incredible and blows my mind that I am blessed to be apart of. On a daily basis ministry is helping out at a surf and soccer school, after school, for street children. To share with them Jesus' incredible love for them as well as to teach them discipline and give them a hope and an option other than drugs, or finding their way to a home that is full of abuse. It also includes after school reading schools, feedings, and gardening projects for the disabled.
On top of this I am blessed to be free to worship daily, talk out loud about Jesus (which was a huge no-no in China), and just soak in His goodness while pouring out His love to all the children I encounter.
This past Sunday one of our AMAZING contacts Malcolm took my team mates and myself to Hillsong Church, which was quite incredible. Afterward he showed us more of the city and took us to a Harbour and we were just blessed to soak in more of the goodness of the Lord.
