How cute is this boy!
I just want you all to meet this amazing little man! At age five he is already being the hands and feet of God! Common` that certainly deserves an amen! He daily goes on feedings with his also amazing momma Rona, who is so incredibly beautiful!
This little guy, though still small, is mighty! Each day he joins his mom and goes on feedings from 10am to whenever all the food is gone and then he gets home, eats some food and goes to school from 1-3 pm where he then goes on another feeding at 4 pm.
I have been blessed to see this little man interact with other children, men, and women and his joy is simply infectious towards anyone and everyone he comes into contact with. His love for people is so far different from other five year olds I have encountered at home. Joseph radiates joy and and God`s glory amidst not having much at all and yet being able to give so much of himself. Which is definitely something he learned from his mother.
Most,not all, five year olds I have come in contact with tend to be more concerned with what toys they have and are so unaware of what others need. I know you`re thinking Philippines and North America are so different. However poverty is everywhere. People you may know, may not have eaten today because they just have not had the means to get food. In which you can be challenged to make change. Find the need in your community and fulfill it! If you don`t think there is one, which I am very doubtful of, there are plenty of people on planet earth that could use a `hello,` a simple smile and if you get the courage a great big hug!
The thing I think is just amazing is that Joseph has realized at such a young age that people are more important than his own need. He has this great willingness to give, but also knows that all people truly need is to be loved. Which he puts his whole heart into any person`s life and I think that is pretty remarkable.
