Landing in Hong Kong, catching a 5 hour bus ride to the Chinese border and beyond. Next we find our way onto a subway that will lead us to a 31 hour train ride and again a 3 to 4 hour bus ride and finding we have no real destination but destinations. We are to travel from city to city the whole month. Praying, telling people about Jesus, and really relying on God to provide shelter, and divine appointments.
On the train I found myself surrounded by a cloud of smoke, seats that barely fit me and men that watch your every move. Also, since the train was an overnight train I also found myself sleeping under seats, and waking up from time to time because one man seemed to enjoy the company of our women. Which thank the Lord for our two men, Chris and Kevin, who sent him back to his seat.
Finally, in LZ but just for one night. We connect with a contact and find a place to sleep for the night. We get somewhat settled, and incredibly excited that there is a real shower and real toilet. Hallelujah! Then we browse the city a little, exchange some money, and grab a bite to eat from a street vendor. We explored some more and found oatmeal which we bought so it could last us a few days during our travels, as well as some toilet paper. As most Chinese people enjoy the drip dry effect, however not quite a favourite of 'feugo' just yet. Up at 5 am to get ready, set and go to the bus stop to travel to A. A is our first stop and where we leave team L.O.L. We spend two days here wandering, praying and figuring out our lives as nomads for the month.
