We have stayed in Ongole for a bit over 20 days. These days have flown by! There have been days where I was frustrated and wanted to be alone. There were times I didn’t know what to say or I didn’t know if I could say what I wanted to. There have been exciting days where I’ve wanted to explore. There have been days of ice cream and pop and chicken and bread. There have been days of laughter and jokes and joy. There were times of good company and good conversations.
India has been good to us and I will miss it, for sure.
We’ve been treated well and well taken care of. These are some of the things I will miss:
- The hospitality
- The food and flavours
- The welcoming nature and community feel of the villages
- The powerful prayers of the children
- The space we have to live and the spaces to be alone
- The beautiful fabrics
- Thums up (better than coke) from a generous family
- Beautiful landscapes (mountains, trees, crops)
- The beach
- The roof and the view

Here’s to Nepal, to the next beautiful and exciting things to experience.
