For those who have followed my blogs, I’m sure you’ve discovered by now just how much I looooooooove my family.

I’ve been blessed with wonderful parents – Mike and Bonnie Imig. They’re pretty shnazzy people.

And I’ve also been blessed with three A-M-A-Z-I-N-G sisters. ๐Ÿ™‚

Amanda, Emily, and Heather

(You have probably also discovered that I’m not bias whatsoever)

Today is one of those special days to me, for it happens to be one of my sister’s birthday.

I’ll give you a hint:

It’s neither Heather nor Amanda

So that means it’s EMILY!!!!

Yay Emily!!  It’s yo birthday!

So Emily, I dedicate this blog to you, because you are one fantastic sister, and you deserve it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are some special things about my sister Emily:

Emily is one FABULOUS baker – you should stalk her pictures on facebook to see some of her baking creations.  Seriously – go do it!

Emily is my favorite shopping partner – she doesn’t mind spending hours with me searching for the best or cheapest item (thank you!!!).

Emily is quite intelligent – I enjoy bragging on her and how well she’s doing in school.

Aside from our dad, I think if any one of the Imigs were to become a comedian, Emily would be it. Her wit and humor is always spot on. Way to go, Emily, way to go.

Emily truly has a big heart, and she’s such a caring person. Just for example, whenever I or someone else is sick, she is always there to tend to us. She has such a servant’s heart when it comes to helping others.

Growing up, I always knew that if anyone was mean to me or picked on me, she would always come to my rescue.

I don’t know that I ever told her this, but her confidence in me being able to do the race when I initially told her meant so much to me. I remember exactly what we were doing a year ago when I told her – we were baking (no surprise) in her kitchen, and she offered nothing but words of encouragement to me (once again, thank you!!!).

And here are some things in general that I miss:

I miss our loooong bike rides

I miss our trips to the farmer’s markets

I miss listening & dancing to Florence and the Machine with her

I miss our random trips to the grocery store

I miss baking with her

I miss being able to hug her!

I miss…just her.

And although we probably fought more than we got along when we were little, I have nevertheless appreciated our friendship that has only gotten stronger over the years. I thank God for her, and it is my prayer that on this day she would know just how much she is loved.

Loved by me, loved by our family, loved by her friends, and most of all loved by God.

I miss her terribly, and I can’t wait to see her beautiful smile and give her the same kind of obnoxious hug I always give her.

Hehehe…you KNOW you LOVE my hugs!!!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Birthday, seester!  I love you!
