Dear Friends, Family and Loved Ones,
In May 2008, I graduated from Texas Christian University not knowing what lied ahead, Since then, I have had my share of random jobs. I was curious about the opportunity to join the The World Race, an eleven month mission trip to eleven different countries. I applied and have no been accepted! My journey with about 60 other individuals will begin in January 2010.
My greatest desire is to serve God and his people. I have always had a passion for people. I love that every person, no matter what age has an interesting and beautiful story. During this trip, I will be discipled and trained in various areas of ministry and missions. I will also have the opportunity to minister to people who need to hear of salvation through Jesus.
My tentative route includes working with those aching with hunger and thirst for Christ in New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Ukraine, Romania, Kenya, Uganda and two other countries that God will lead us to.
I am more than excited about this opportnuity and the experiences that lie ahead. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $13,900 by January 2010, but would like to raise $16,000 total to offset costs like health insurance, vaccinations and other travel expenses. Donations can be made in a one-time donation or monthly pledge. (There is no such thing as a “small” donation because every cent counts!) Fifteen pledges of $100 a month for 10 months would equate $15,000. This may seem near impossible, but I know that God will provide. Most importantly, I also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God’s leading in ministry in these countries. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
I have enclosed a response card and pre-adressed envelope, which invites you to share in this ministry (or you can donate online through the Support Me! tab). Please make checks payable to Adventures in Missions. Including the enclosed card will provide AIM with all necessary information. In turn, they will send you a receipt. They request that you send all donations by January 2010. Adventures in Missions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donors will receive receipts for their gifts with the understanding that the disbursement of those gifts lies completely at the discretion of Adventures in Missions and that the gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable, per IRS regulations. Gifts maybe tax deductible; please consult a tax advisor.
I am very EXCITED about how God will use me and what He will teach me through this experience. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve, but also to you. My desire is to go as your representative of Jesus Christ. I hope you will prayerfully consider being part of my ministry. Check out my blog, http://michelleeuperio.theworldrace.org to check in on me before and throughout the trip! Thanks so much!
In Him,
Michelle Euperio
