Hello!!

Greetings from Kampala, Uganda!

We finally made it to Uganda…after about 10 hours or so on a bus! The bus ride from Rwanda to the Ugandan border was pretty torturous. They don’t call Rwanda the land of a thousand hills for nothing. I’m not sure I have ever been so motion sick in my life lol. It was so bad that I even had a bag handy just in case. Then I took a large enough dose of dramamine to knock me out for the next 6 hours. Then it was wonderful, sleepful bliss! I am definitely going to miss Rwanda…mostly I will miss the wonderful friends I made. Pastor Caleb and Faith Centre were wonderful hosts. Our new friends Solomon, Tito, Martin, Innocent, and Fiona…we will miss you for sure!!

Our contact here in Uganda seems pretty cool. His name is Pastor Joseph and his church is Ambassadors of Life Church. Not sure yet what we will be doing this month because as of this blog, we haven’t met with him to discuss our ministry this month. Kampala is much different than the small town of Nayagatare that we were in. This place is so crowded and there are people moving about everywhere! I’ll keep ya informed of what we are doing as soon as I find out.

Here’s a sneak peak of what we will get to be doing on the 19th of this month though…it looks as though we have the opportunity to go white water rafting down the Nile River and even bungy jump right over the Nile!! It’s a little costly…please be praying for me and that I can get enough money together to go. Rafting the Nile! How much fun that will be J Love you all and I miss you all oh so much!! I can’t believe we are starting month 7! There are only 4 more countries after this….I remember when I had 10 more countries after the Philippines…that seemed liked forever away. Time has definitely passed since then.

Much love from Uganda,

Michelle
