Hello dear friends!
This month has been awesome! Our squad had the opportunity to go rafting through the Nile River as well as bungee jumping over this Nile this weekend! It was incredible and so much fun! I wanted to post a few pictures as well as the video of my jump 🙂 We even got to go over a waterfall in our raft! Our raft was the only one that made it to the water fall. If you didn’t paddle hard enough to get there…you missed it. It was awesome and you’ll be able to see from the expressions on our face how cool it was! I’m sitting on the front left side of the raft…which will be on the right side of the screen for most of the pics…but it’s the left side if you’re in the boat…I fell out 3 times. Our raft only flipped two times though…another time I was the only one who managed to fall out lol…The rapids were all the way up to class 6…class 6 is unraftable though. The one rapid that we passed that was a class 6 is called Death haha…we went around it. It was intense though!! Even just watching it. We are hoping to get the video that they took of all of us going down the rapids…maybe in India I’ll be able to post that. The bungee jump was 145 feet over the Nile. I almost wet myself lol…it was pretty scary free falling from that high up!! Love you all and miss you 🙂
