Hello friends!
I pray you are all having a wonderful month back home or wherever you are. Life here in India has been interesting. We started out the month in the city of Chennai. Our team is now in Bangalore and working with another team for the month. Bangalore is a great city to work in and the people have been amazing! I wanted to share some pictures with you to help show you a little of what we have been doing here.
Last week we went to a park in the city to work with disabled children. It was a wonderful experience! The children had so much joy on their faces. They gave us a briefing before we left to explain a little about how disabled children are looked at here in India. It’s quite sad actually. Most people believe those who are disabled in any way are cursed. They are treated as though they have something contagious and have no worth. Both of our teams were able to be there for the morning. We sang songs with them, taught them about David and Goliath, helped them with a craft, and we were blessed to be able to pray with them. These kids desired nothing more than to be loved on and given attention to. What an honor it was to be there. I hope you enjoy the pics.
