Did David ever think he would be king one day?
When Goliath fell, did he know?
On one hand, God gives us the dreams and desires that are in line with His plans for us.
On the other hand, He always does more than we could ever ask or think.
On the other….third hand (lol)…..things often turn out nothing like we ever expected!
Sometimes my dreams seem so big….but other times, that same dream feels so small.
At one point in my life, I thought I was ruined. I felt I saw my dreams being dashed against a mountain and fall to pieces…..but God had other plans.
My church has a women’s rally every year called Designed for Life. Last year’s theme was Dare to Dream. It was life changing! It caused me to dream again! ….to look at my dreams…… Gods dreams….as things He put in me! Things He made me for! 12 months later….I have tasted and seen a little of what these dreams can hold…..and I want more! More of what God has for me! If He can do THIS…..what else can He do!! If he can take me there…..where else can He take me!!! And yet, I have the sense that no matter what I see in my mind’s eye….that things will be even better than I imagine!
What are your dreams? What are the dreams God has placed in your heart…..things you were created for…..formed for…..knitted for….. Has your God dream ever feel too big….or too small…..or just plain lost? We so often let our circumstances determine how we feel about our dreams but God sees the big picture! Don’t be afraid to dream! Even in the darkest of night….your dreams can shine like the noonday sun!
He has dreams and plans for people all across His wide world, and World Racers help them see that God created them FOR something! Though the world can crush even the smallest of dreams….our God restores! He brings Hope and a Bright new day! He makes beauty from ashes! For some, even the most basic of needs can be a dream….a dream to go to school….a dream to stop being afraid….a dream to be set free…… a dream to be healed. God wants to birth a dream in the hearts of some, and restore a lost or broken dream for others. He wants us to have life….and have it abundantly! As I go, I pray He will use me in the process of building, restoring, and fulfilling dreams in the hearts of those who call out to Him. He is faithful!
