“Let’s go for a walk” he said. Little did I know another miracle was breaking through. I stopped in to Mardel’s to see about product donations for the World Race Raffle at the Sock Hop (April 29). Our first ‘stop’ was an awesome, large framed picture of the Serenity Prayer that retails for like $75 or something crazy! “How about this?” he asked. “UUUUUMMMM…. YYYYEEEESSSS…. That would be awesome!!!” I was stunned and excited with just this one gift, but it didn’t stop there… We walked farther in till we arrived at an even larger framed picture of an old world map with a sticker price of $199! “How about this one too?” “WWWHHAAATT!!! That’s amazing!! You have no idea my affection for maps! I love praying over world maps! What a perfect token to also remind people of me as I am racing around the world! Thank You So Much!!” As a side note, when talking with him, I got the standard ‘race’ question. “So, is it like the Amazing Race where you are competing for something?” My standard response is “no, think more along the lines of Human Race”, and that usually does the trick. But he said “Maybe its more like Racing to spread the gospel!” “DUH! Of course that’s it :0)” So, this will be my new standard response :0) Thank you Jason the Manager from Mardel’s!
PS- I told Jason I would spread the word about a project he is extremely excited about. The President and First Lady of Ghana want to give a Bible to every High School student! For just $6.99 we can make their dream a reality! Stop by Mardel’s to be a part of this transforming project!! I also love that it is partnered with education. A Bible is just firewood for those who are illiterate, but it is the bread of life to those who can eat its words!
The number of miracles the Lord has let me see are almost too many to count, but I will try….

I could never do this without your prayers and giving. Thank you for your obedience to the Lord! Most of all, Thank you for believing in me! It is so humbling and encouraging! There are so many needs in the kingdom of God, and so many great men and women of faith who are serving throughout the earth, but you are choosing to send ME….to go with me! Thank you! I go with confidence that you are racing with me in every way! Every life that is changed is because of YOU! The charge I have received to ‘GO!’ is so much bigger than myself! The Lord knows that I cannot go without you!
