Most of us had not had the opportunity to get to know each other prior to being placed on a team together. This left us with only a few hours to bond before coming up with a team name. We wanted something meaningful that represented our new relationships well. After tossing around ideas, nothing was hitting the nail on the head. So, we took the matter to prayer. The Lord knows us each intimately, and knows what is in store for us as a team. We felt him speaking words like: New, Wind, Shaping, Shaking. We had the image of rocks being placed in a tumbler that come out smooth and new. This is how I felt. Raw, freshly broken rocks, unsure how they fit together, being put in the tumbler, trusting the Lord to shape and smooth us as we learn to love each other well. We’re ‘all in’ Lord! (pun intended). This, our team was born….. Team Tumblers!!!
