Time is a limited and valuable resource in my life right now, especially since adding World Race prep to my already full schedule. There is more I need and want to do than is humanly possible (I’m sure you can relate). I recently started asking God to be Lord of my time….and He has made such a difference! Now, my day looks markedly different at the end of my day than what I anticipated for it to look like at the onset. Every change He makes is perfectly planned for His Glory. I find windows of time unexpectedly open up just before a friend in need calls and find short windows of time to be more productive and full. Try as I may to always make Him Lord of my time, I do still try and take the reigns. When I start looking around at the things that need done, and the people I miss and the obligations I have made….I start to plan it all out in my own strength. At the end of days like that…I feel unfulfilled and like I missed something important. That’s because I did miss out on the appointments of the Lord. Of course He is sovereign and His plans are not based around my ability to ‘get it right’, but things do look different when we invite Him to have full access…then listen closely for His voice.
Have you invited the Lord to have full access to your time as a resource to use for His glory? He knows everything you have to do and knows just how to combine it with everything He wants you to do. He is trustworthy!
Will you pray for my time as I tackle the mountain of preparation for my Race? There is more to do than I ever thought.
Please pray for me that:
- the materials I develop to be effective and reflect my heart
-
the right people will come around and support me in areas I am not strong in
- right now I really need help with graphic design
- I can quickly compile all the foundational materials I need to jumpstart my fundraising
