During one of our meetings, in the murder capital of Honduras, where the spiritual warfare was THICK in the air (like smacking into a brick wall), we ministered at a general church service so there were men, women, and families.  Evelyn spoke a powerful word despite the power outage that left her yelling so everyone could hear.  With cell phone lights dotting the sanctuary and a flashlight pointed at her face, she spoke boldly!  The lights eventually came on, and people came to the alter to resppond to what God was doing in their hearts.  Mid way through, Evelyn felt the Lord tell her that there were some in this room who had encountered a period of rebellion, but like Jonathan and David from scripture, their period of rebellion would not define them.  As she spoke this over the congragation in spanish, Nancy also felt a word from the Lord.  Keep in mind that Nancy, speaks NO spanish at all.  Having NO IDEA (literally) what Evelyn just spoke, Nancy proceeded to say that she felt someone in the room was slipping into the fires of Hell.  That they needed to turn back to God now or face destruction.  A few moments later, a man emerged from the back of the church.  Tall, Stalky, towering above these 2 short little women, he came forward for prayer.  Crying hard, he humbled himself before the Lord.  After Evelyn and Nancy prayed for him, he got up and said, “my name is Jonathan David”. He used to walk with the Lord, but had been running in rebellion and had not even been in church for quite some time.  He said that God was calling him by name that day, and he would choose to turn back to God!  What a powerful, intimate God we serve.  One who knows us, and sees us, and invites us to Himself.  A God who will send short little women from America to call a hardened heart back home.
