of some possible changes to my Route.

Each Route (itinerary of countries) is done by a Squad of 65
people. The World Race sends Squads
about 4-5 times a year (Launch Date).
Each Launch Date can send up to 3 or 4 Squads. As a racer, I get to pick my Squad (which
means I pick my launch date and my route from the options available). Then, the World Race breaks us into the
smaller Teams to form the most cohesive groups possible.
Right now, I am looking at
making a change in my Squad. Currently, I
am signed up for July 2012, Route 1. I
am seeking the Lord about possibly
moving to Sept 2012. There are 3 routes
to choose from, but Route 1 has caught my eye.

When I said Yes to God, I
was not saying Yes to a Route, I was saying Yes to His leading in my life. When I said I would follow Him, I did not
expect to know where God was going next, only endeavor to follow with Him,
wherever He went. As much as I have
fallen in love with my Squad and my Route, I hold it all with an open hand the
Lord and have given Him full permission to redirect my life as needed. I even had very gut wrenching, painful moments when I gave God permission to take the World Race out of the picture all together. No matter how much I want this…. I want Him more!
The idea that things may need to change came about just this
past weekend, and it has been
a painful, prayer-filled few days.
The main catalyst has been some student loans, so please keep that in
prayer. Between you and me…I am asking God for a financial miracle! The areas He has given me a burden and
passion for are non-profits…ie: not money makers :0) I welcome financial dependence
on the Lord, and am curious about how this debt will play in the long-term picture. But, I know all of this is not a conflict for
the Lord. He knows about the debt, and
the desires of my heart, and the plans He has for me…so I trust that He will
work it all out. Just saying…prayer
works, so please join me in asking God for financial freedom :0)
