Habla con Dios? Do you talk to God?
That has been the question of the week. It has been a great way to move the conversation to the Creator, King, and Savior who wants to have a personal relationship with THEM! The Lord continues to bring people across my path and open wide the doors of conversation that lead to Christ. Simple questions like, “Are you from MO?” (the gas station attendant noticing my license plates), “What are you reading?” (the waiter noticing I was reading my Bible at lunch), “What brings you back to NJ?” (this covers all the customers, coworkers, and other random conversations).
While I am immersed in a culture that boldly believes all paths lead to God, I am finding that all conversations lead to Jesus. I have such a feeling of trust about these brief conversations (many only a few moments long). There was a time in my life where I would have walked away thinking hard about what was said and fretting over what was not said. But now, I know that this is the Lords work, and not mine. I trust that He is working in their hearts and lives. My part is to keep my spirit tuned in with the Holy Spirit, and be obedient to what the Lord is asking me to say and do. Often, there is not enough time to outline everything I want to say, but if I can inspire them to reach out to God and ask Him to show them something new about who He is, I know I can trust the Lord to blow their minds.
There is a quote from an old DC Talk CD, “God is not afraid of who or how you worship. He knows sooner or later, if you are truly seeking, you will find Him”. There is only one true God, and one way to enter into Heaven (though Jesus). But I am unable to convince anyone of this. Their heart needs to seek God, and then He will reveal Himself to them. I just get to be a part of the process. You can too! Ask the Lord if there is anyone in your day that He wants to use you as a vessel that points them to Himself.

· Please pray for the Spanish Bibles I am handing out to the guys who work in the kitchen at my restaurant.
· Please pray for the other servers the Lord is using me to minister to as a light in the darkness.
