A year packed so full of life and adventure with something new around every bend can be hard to keep up with. I am glad to confess I sometimes get so caught in living this crazy life, that I do not do it justice here, in my blog. The mountain of unwritten blogs is too much to contain sometimes. I might need to take 1 month after the race just to get caught up with writing :0)

For now, here are a few excerpts from unwritten blogs from Thailand….

Secret moments
Jesus meets with me in secret moments.  Moments in the day when He sits down next to me and makes me blush.  When He looks me in the eye and asks me to do or say something.  Some moments seem not so secret.  Like when I get carried away crying out from the depths of my soul as I sit silently worshiping amidst a crowd.

The obstacle of my heart
Relational ministry among a people with no framework for the gospel feels impossible.  My ‘go to’ phrases have no context or meaning here.  Things like ‘Jesus loves you so much and you are so important to Him’, or ‘Have you talked with God lately?  I know He would love to hear from you’  are meaningless here.  This is a land where gods are powerless to help, but must be appeased.  Where everything is up to you, and if you get it wrong, you will have to deal with that in your next life.  Where being born as a prostitute means you screwed up in your last life and just need to keep your head above water and your next life might be better.  A place where the Gospel starts with God speaking darkness into light and the story of a woman named Eve.  I hardly know where to start!

Bubble Tea, Marshmallows, and Cashew Chicken
…..my teams  response to the question ‘if I were a food, what food would I be, and why?’  Apparently I am bubbly, caffeinated, and sweet… kind of nutty…. and having lots of variety in who I am.

The God who answers prayers
I asked the Lord to make me a carrier of His presence, and He has done it!  I asked Jesus to create divine appointments, and He has done it!  I asked Jesus to show up and meet with me face to face, and He is doing it!  I am asking God to take me to another level with Him, and I cant wait to see what He does next!

Praise God and Thank You!  I only need $301 until I am fully funded for The World Race!  My personal account is running low, so if you are able to give, please redirect your giving to me personally (message me here for the address) and NOT through the World Race website.  My personal account helps with:  Personal money (the toothbrush I just bought, or the iced tea I am drinking right now on this ridiculously hot day), Giving (like putting an offering in the plate for the pastor who lives on so little, but loves so big, or buying Bibles for new believers, or English books for the poor missionary), and all the other little things that come up in the life of a missionary #missionaryproblems.
