I share this miracle for you… You who prays for me, who reads my blog, who encourages me, who asks me about my trip when we see eachother, and who has generously made a donation, enabeling me to go.
My Grandparents have been such a blessing in wanting to support me on The World Race (as you too have been). As a side note, they were choosing not to purchase an iPad that would be helpful for my Grandfathers recovery from some medical issues. They never said this, but I couldn’t help but feel that if they were not supporting me financially, they would have purchased the iPad for themselves. I shared my concern with a friend. She mentioned that she had a very small chance to win an iPad at work and that if she did, she would donate it to my Grandparents. We prayed about it, and she said that if she won, it would be confirmation from the Lord that He was going to meet all my WR needs, and the needs of people like my Grandparents who are sacrificing to be a part of what God is doing. Well, she WON! I just shipped the iPad to my Grandparents a few minutes ago and am full of such great joy at how God is showing His love and care for them.
There is more than enough in the kingdom of God to meet everyone’s needs! I know that the Lord will pour out blessings into your life as you give selflessly to the Kingdom of God (please know that I am not only talking about World Race gifts, I am speaking of all the many ways you give generously to the kingdom of God)! I know that He cares for you and loves you beyond what you can possibly understand and that He is more than able to come through for you, and to meet the needs that you have! Too often we feel as though we cant give in one way because of a need we have somewhere else. This is one more example of how God can meet our needs even when we give away what we thought we needed.
Lord, help me to continually give selfelessly, even though I have needs of my own. Lord, pour out blessings on my friends as they too give to the work of the Lord despite their own need. Do a miracle in their life to transform their finances for Your glory!
