What picture can I show you that captures the priceless moments birthed in your partnership? What words can I wrap around to show you how every dollar you gave has impacted lives? What can I say to equal the deep Thank You bursting in my heart?
Many of you have been on this journey with me before I left the states and have been following my blog for over a year. You have laughed and cried with me, believed and hoped with me, prayed and waited with me.
The long awaited point in my journey has come when I am officially Fully Funded! $15,500 has been raised in my support account to cover basic food, lodging, transportation, and all the other logistics of living in the field for 11 months.
What has meant the most to me is how invested you are in this journey. You have reached out to pray for and encourage me, left comments on blogs that have touched your heart, and shared our stories with your friends and family. I look forward to seeing you in person and sharing ‘remember when’ moments with you.
The Journey you have been on this year is just as powerful and full of purpose! There are people all around you that need to enter into new places of understanding how much Jesus loves them. You have the power to impact them and love them well. The time you are spending with Jesus each day….time in prayer….time reading your Bible … time worshipping …. time meditating on the things of God… all the ways Jesus fills your cup…. Are positioning you to overflow Gods love onto others. Don’t hold back! Keep saying ‘Yes’ to Jesus and keep showing Him to others.

Personal expenses cover things like:
Plane Tickets –
- We get dropped at a major airport then I have to fly myself back to NJ.
- There is a 1 week re-entry retreat at the end of August that is in GA. The cost of the retreat is free, but I need transportation to get there.
- I would love to fly back to MO for a week since it has been my home for 3 years and so many of you reading this live there.
Food
- Fruits/veggies/protein – in each country, our budget leaves a big gap in one of these food groups so I have to spend personal money on food.
- Drinks – water is covered, but a cold iced tea on a hot day, or a hot tea on a cold night goes a long way in moral
Hygiene
- Laundry
- Toiletries – shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant…. Ect.
