I am back from World Race Training Camp! Well, not quite back. Sitting at the airport waiting to go home.

 And I feel pumped!

Some exciting things happened at Training Camp:

-God delivered me of some things and changed my heart

            -I met my beautiful squad

-I learned more about what it meant to be a missionary on the World Race

-I became more equipped to handle this new understanding

-I learned who my team is going to be (and I am so so EXCITED)

-I agreed to be the team leader for this team

            -Our route was changed

I will be unpacking these points through blogging in the weeks to come. (Unpacking…not looking forward to that later). But for now I’ll just cover one.

NEW ROUTE!!!

I am seriously stoked. Here is the new (tentative) list of countries my squad will be going to:

            -Zambia

            -Malawi

            -Estonia

            -Latvia

            -Lithuania

            -China

            -Mongolia

            -Thailand

            -Cambodia

            -Vietnam

            -Nepal

We are no longer going to Kenya, Uganda, or Rwanda, as no squads will be going to Eastern Africa for the time being due to security reasons and such. We also will no longer going to be going to India, for a reason I am not quite sure of, and I’ll admit I was disappointed for a few seconds about that. But it was literally just a few seconds because the sheer awesomeness of this new route began to sink in and I got over the loss of going to India real quick. We’re going to be the very first squad to go to Mongolia!

Can we all just say a big “YAY!” to this?

More to come on training camp later.

If you want to help make sure I make it to all the countries on our new route, you can give by clicking the “Support Me” link on the left menu. God bless you all!
