As I look back at 2017; what do I see? I see a young man wanting to change the world. One that has grown and made plenty of mistakes but also learned from them. I see a man who still wants his inner child to come out at times (I type this as Camp Rock 2 is playing in the background). I see a man who wants to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One that is coming closer to graduate college; something his mom and dad didn’t have the privilege of getting to do.

The Lord has pushed me and has grown me in 2017 and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has for me in 2018. In 2017 I turned 21, had my first few alcoholic beverages; some I liked some I didn’t. I went to not one but three different countries all in the name of Jesus. I gained friendships and have some great roommates that have been pushing me into working out (though I skyrocketed back into about the same weight again, thanks a lot holidays), and pursuing Christ more. I have gained a mentor and become more proactive in discipleship as well. I got a job and quit because I did not like it and how spiritually draining it was.

2017 was an interesting one, I can’t wait to see what the Lord has for me with this year. I am almost 22 already and I have the opportunity to go on the World Race, where I get to love like Jesus does. I just hope and pray that I can actually do that, sometimes I have doubts, though I know I shouldn’t. The Lord has called me to do His Will and I sure am going to do it.

I pray that the Lord uses me greatly this year to do great things; where I get to do things that I’ve never thought of doing.
