This week on my who is it post I am appreciating John Sanchez. John was on my first team in the first four months of the race and still, today is a close friend that I appreciate. Things to know about John. He is very disciplined. He knows the word and desires growth. He loves to hold bible studies and is passionate about pastoring and discipling pastors. He has such a humble spirit and is passionate about the Lord. Oh, he loves the books Romans, Exodus, and Ezekiel! He loves the Old Testament! I have learned so much from him. The Lord has done amazing work in his life and it shows from month one until now. I have seen the Lord do amazing things through John because of his consistent obedience to the Lord. He loves veggie tales and will always bring joy to your life through song and dance. He will say he isn’t the best dancer, but that won’t stop him!

JOHN SANCHEZ

John has grown so much in intentionality and loving/connecting to people. He listens with care and is ready to point you back to Christ with whatever you share with him. He keeps the words from God on his lips and hidden in his heart. When I see him live his life in ministry and on our off days, HE LIVES IT FOR JESUS! He used to be intimidated with public speaking and preaching at the beginning of the race and now he is the first to preach and share a word with a multitude of people. HE is bold, courageous, inspiring, disciplined, focused, and joyful. My prayer for John is that he wouldn’t lose sight of the vision the Lord has given him. That he would continue to take steps of faith into what the Lord has already promised him. For him to be the light in his community back home. For him to bring the dry bones to life, by the way, he disciples and ministers to people on his campus and in his workspace. John is more than a best friend. He is a brother to me and I am thankful that I can call him my brother for life.
