Below is a photo blog on the fun things I was able to do on a few off days I had in month 3! These are things I did while I was in Peru during the days I had to rest. My team and I got the opportunity to go to Huachachina to ride in a dune buggy and go sand boarding. Hauchachina is a desert oasis and a tiny village just west of the city of Ica in southwestern Peru. It was filled with so much laughter and screaming for joy! We had two girls Kylie and Katy, from another team join us in ministry this month due to the loss of a passport. They had to come to Lima to get a new passport at the U.S embassy. We also got the opportunity to go to the Ballestas Islands and the Peruvian Galapagos! I got to see for the first time penguins and sea lions! I am so amazed at God’s creation, and I am thankful for your support. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you. Enjoy the photos and the videos! My amazing teammate Colby Wayenberg took photos!
