Hello Friends!

It’s been awhile, I know!  I am working on a website and will soon be finished, and then I can update you through the site!

While in Kenya our team met personally with over 40
orphans.  Most of these kids go without
meals and have little hope of completing school.  For each of the orphans we got information
and a photo.  One worship night we set
out a sheet of paper for each one and prophesied over the kids.  That night, God called many of us to advocate
for support for orphans.  God put it on
my heart to find support for two kids who I met days earlier.  Their names are David Mburu and Steven
Mwangi.  If you watch the short video below you can see them climbing a tree and playing soccer with me!

Steven Mwangi

both parents died of HIV/Aids

like Christ.  Love and Hope in his
eyes.  Beautiful.  Brilliant.
Creative.  Wonderful.  Loved.
Gracious.  Giving.  Amazing!
A child of God.  I will not leave you as orphans, I will come
to you
.” (John 14:18)

David Mburu

9 years old

both parents died of HIV/Aids

lives with grandmother, brother (Steven 14yrs) and sister
(Elizabeth 6yrs)

class 3 at Umoja Primary

Courageous!
Brilliant!  Amazing!  Conqueror!
I will not leave you as orphans,
I will come to you
.” (John 14:18) A blessing.  Loved by his Father.

I am looking for someone to support David and Steven.  To feed them and enable them to go to school would cost little each month.  Supporting one of both of these kids would mean praying for their well-being, sending a small amount of money each month, and sending encouraging letters to them as God leads.  A longer term commitment is better, but even if it were for only a year, I could find someone else to pick up where you left off.  If God moves on your heart please email me at [email protected]

Would you consider emailing this blog to as many people as you know?  Lets get these kids supported!  They’re worth it!
