This past week, I spent it all.
I poured out everything.
Janna and I have been fighting for unity throughout this team, and it hasn't been easy. There have been a lot of struggles, and quite honestly, many situations we simply were not sure how to handle. Whats great, is that the situations have forced us both to be completely dependent on God. I have never been closer to God. We simply pray together, for a spirit of wisdom and revelation, and then God brings light to each situation as they come.
Our heart, is that our team would also learn complete dependence on God. That they would surrender all control, and everything they are holding onto, so that God may be glorified and work through their lives without hindrance. We never stop pushing them, challenging them, to become.
Sean Smith was my squad leader on the World Race, and he is an amazing man of God who fought for me. He showed me what it means to fight for someone. To cry out to God for His BEST, for someone's life. I'll forget in Nicaragua, when he was praying that I would follow God's BEST plan for my life. I almost left the squad to stay with the ministry we were partnering with, but Sean fought for me. He was in tune to God's heart, and knew better than I did, what was God's best. I thank God for him. And I hope to fight for the people on my team the way he fought for me. This past week, I did my best to do just that. I spent it all. And man, was I wiped out!
But God blessed me with an amazing night of worship with three people on my team. We worshiped all night and through the morning, and all the while God brought me restoration and new strength.
These past couple days have been amazing. I am seeing a lot of fruit, and the team is walking in greater unity. We are learning to love each other. We are learning to stay at the table.
I thank God for everyone who has donated towards this trip. I am so blessed to watch these kids transform before my very eyes. It is incredible.
