simplicity.
simplicity. having simple faith. faith of a child. simply trusting in God’s promises. God has called us to live simple lives. We need to remove all the clutter, all the things that hinder us from glorifying God in our everyday lives. being simple could mean you thank God for every meal. it is a simple thing to do, but it brings honor to the Father. simply adore Jesus. have you ever stopped and just loved Jesus for a moment? it takes a lot to stop everything you are doing, and just love God. just talk to Him and thank Him for all He’s done. that is a simple way to glorify God, and I’m pretty sure He would appreciate it. simplicity. giving to others, simply because Christ gave to you. forgiving others simply because Christ forgave you. loving others, simply because Christ first loved you. simplicity. going for a swim by yourself. simplicity. letting your mind rest, not trying to figure everything out, but just being, simple. simplicity. simply having no fear. simply knowing that God approves of you. simply knowing that He is working all things out for good. simply enjoying warm clothes on a chilly night. simply enjoying a cold glass of lemonade on a warm day. simply enjoying the small things in life. simply living for God.
simplicity.
this was as close to a free-write session as I could do. I have trouble just writing, I usually like to map everything out, so this was a challenge for me. I encourage you to take a few moments today, pick a word, and then just write about it for 5 minutes or so.
