Making Faces
One day while in Kenya, I was having a rough time.  I felt very alone (it’s amazing how alone you can feel even in crowded places and surrounded by your team).  I was leaning up against a car during a crusade.  Normally I would be out there singing and dancing and tossing kids in the air, but this day I was tired and a bit depressed honestly.
All of a sudden this little girl (probably 7 years old) comes running up to me and JUMPS into my arms.  I couldn’t help but crack a smile (for the first time that day).  I propped her up on the roof of the car so we were eye level.  She kept her arm around my shoulder, brought her face close, and made the silliest face ever.  I made a the same face back at her.
For the next thirty minutes straight, we simply made goofy faces at each other.  She would jump into my arms, and I would toss her in the air and then set her back on the roof of the car.  I didn’t even know who’s car it was, and we actually left a dent in the car.  The owner came up and I was very humble and sorry.  He just smiled carelessly and told me it was no problem.

So God sent this little girl to bring me back to LIFE.  I thank God for her.  I don’t even know her name, and never saw her again.

[Please continue to pray for the remaining $1,300 to come in for my time at the 18″ Journey.  If you would like to donate towards this you can make a check out to ‘A Place for the Heart’ and send it to:  Michael Sanders 340 N Hayworth Ave #304, Los Angeles, CA, 90048, email me [email protected] THANKS!]
