I was listening to the song "You See" by Jonathan David Helser this morning and wrote the following to a friend:
(my suggestion is you listen to the song first, or while you read this.  click the link above and you'll find the song in the music player on the page)

your song of the day is "You See" … have you ever been so overwhelmed with God's goodness that it at times makes your legs weak and you could just about fall apart at any second??

we will see awesome things happen when we start seeing ourselves as God sees us.  and seeing others as God sees them.  and loving ourselves the way God loves us.  and loving others the way God loves them.  and seeing God as He is, as He actually is, which is so much greater than we think, and loving Him for who He is.  this I think is an on-going, hopefully ever increasing cycle, of learning more and more how to see and love God, ourselves and others.  it's almost like that song, 'How great is our God', should have a question mark at the end, like we're continually asking and He's continually breaking our current small view of who He is and expanding the parameters for His greatness, and if He revealed it all at once we would probably fall down dead, and we would be with Him but shoot, the world needs us to bring some Kingdom to earth! Right?! If our mission is to bring the Kingdom, we better know who the King is, hey? And we better know who we are in the Kingdom, and see people as they are in the Kingdom. God grant us YOUR eyes, and fill us with YOUR love that we may SEE Your Kingdom come on this earth as it is in Heaven. Amen.

The Steadfast Terra Nova Phillies!  Also from the final banquet.

"And Matthew, you look wonderful tonight"  I was serenading Matthew to Eric Clapton's tune, in front of the whole squad.  It was how our team decided to honor our leader.

Some of the L Squad ladies and I at the ocean in Ireland!

Will Jung and I practicing the Squad Dance in one pair of XXL shorts and the "Everybody Will Jung Tonite" t-shirts….  yeah I wasn't sure if I was going to put this one up

Thanks for reading.  And thank you to everyone who continues to pray for my support, and everyone who has supported me!  I am getting close to being fully supported, ~$500 to go!  (if 20 people gave $25, or 10 people gave $50 I would reach my goal!)  If in praying God leads you to make a donation, you can do so by clicking here.  Email me if you have any questions.  More updates to come, especially when things settle down a bit!  I will be speaking thursday at a Campus Crusade meeting.  Please lift this up in prayer, I really want the students to have an encounter with Jesus!  Thanks!

The message of this song goes well with this blog I think…
