Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. (Matthew 22:37, 38 NIV) I have been brought to this scripture over the past few days and the Lord is putting on my heart to dig deep. What does it truly look like to love the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind? Not only this but what does Gods love look like, he is sending me to seek it deeper, I know Gods love but he wants to take me deeper. So as I Dive into this I want to know what you think of Gods love! If you have time, please respond! Define Gods love, what does it look like in your life and give some examples if possible! Thanks!
This was my response:
God’s love:
When I fall short of perfection, and before I can start to beat myself up over it, God shows up in a perfect way.
God’s love is the freedom I have to turn away from Him.
A breath of fresh air. A flock of birds soaring through the air. The leaf that falls, a close friend’s call.
A well that will never run dry and one in which you’ll never find the end of.
