drum drum drum druuuummmmmm
So,
today I had my first experience drumming with a worship band at a
church event (not including the times fiddling around (actually
drumming around) at Cornerstone for the youth nights back home).
This was a night where legit Romanian worship bands were playing and
rotating, and Nicole and I rotated in! I took over on drums and she
took the keys and sang and led worship! It was one of the greatest
experiences of my life! It was so anointed! I was praying in
between songs, that God would show me how to play haha. But it was
great! We rocked it. Everyone was worshiping like crazy. I
definitely want to learn drums and play in worship bands, its soooo
amazing! The excitement of playing and seeing people come before the
Lord! My God!

Back
in Cambodia we played the prophesy game… wow I am such a Christian,
playing a prophesy game. Why don’t I explain what the prophesy game
is. However many people are playing, each put their name on a little
sheet of paper. All the names go in a hat, and then each person
draws a name out of the hat. You do not open the paper to see the
name. You go before God and ask Him to speak words for that person.
You listen. God begins to speak and you write it all down.
Sometimes God puts a scripture on your heart, or a song, or an idea
of something, or even word pictures. After you’ve spent time
listening and hearing from God, you open up the slip of paper to
reveal who the prophesy belongs to. It is awesome. It is great to
get to deliver the message from God. Sometimes you get yourself
which is always interesting.
we played in Cambodia and Kelsi got “drummm, drum drum drum
druuuuummmm”, to that tune that goes like, you know, the one that’s
like, “dunnn, dun dun dun duuuuunnnn” ….. hopefully you
understand. The point is that God has been encouraging my desire to
drum and the other night he gave me the opportunity to. I wasn’t
prepared, we had never played the songs before, I’ve only played
around on drums a little bit here and there, BUT, God let me play
anyway, and it was awesome.
