I was talking with one of my team leaders tonight. His name is Brandon. His walk inspires me.
Through our conversation God gave me a very simple yet powerful revelation: The key to hosting God’s presence is to stay present.
Whats so great about God’s presence?
God’s presence is life. When God is present, the blind hear, the deaf see, the lame walk, dry bones come to life, the sun stands still, the battle is won, the dead are raised, the captives are set free, fear flees, depression is destroyed, vision is restored, hope springs forth, and love abounds.
Take a moment right now to pause…
Take a deep breath.
Pray this simple prayer:
(breath in on the first part and exhale on the second)
(Inhale) Abba, (exhale) I belong to you.
(Inhale) Jesus, (exhale) I abide in Thee.
(Inhale) Holy Spirit, (exhale) have Your way in me.
See, staying present is as simple as breathing! God’s presence is as simple as breathing too.
This is a photo of my creative writing class from the 18″ Journey. This class brought me so much life! I found a lot of healing through writing. I rediscovered lost parts of my imagination. I learned the importance and power of writing. I plan on writing for the rest of my life, and I walk away from the 18″ Journey more equipped for the journey ahead.
This is just one aspect of the school. It was such a full experience, and I walk away a better man. Please pray that God quickly supplies the remaining $1,300 so that I may be fully funded for the school. Would you also consider making a donation towards this today?
