My ministry has changed.
It isn’t what I thought it would be when I signed up for the Race, and it
isn’t what I imagined once I got here.
With that said, my ministry now is my most favorite part of my Race.
For those of you who don’t know, God has called Denise,
Tamica and I to be Squad Leaders for the K(ingdom) Squad! What that means is that our job is to keep a
pulse on the health of the squad, mentally, physically and emotionally. We have the amazing opportunity to just pour
out God’s love to the 39 members of the squad so they can pour out God’s love
to the nations. It’s not an easy job,
but the rewards are immeasurable. We get
to see the joy, the pain, the laughter and the tears, and most of all, the
growth of the men and women on the Race firsthand. I love my new job.
At the time of this
writing, we are in Israel! The Holy
Land! For anyone like me, this is a
slice of historical heaven. I can’t
begin to tell you how much I’ve learned in the short time I’ve been here. Its simply amazing.
Just an FYI, our squad has been called to a ‘technology ban.’ Meaning, no computers, music or the
like. So if you haven’t been able to get
in touch with me, that’s why! I’ll still
blog once a week so you will all know what’s going on in our lives! The ban will be lifted on Christmas day, so I’ll
be able to get in touch with family then. Until then, have a great December and I’ll
post again soon!

received and trust that God will provide the rest!)
