Dear Friends and Family,
A new adventure is ahead, and I would like to give you an opportunity to be involved!
I am thankful for this opportunity to share what God has been doing in my life lately. God has really been moving in me. He has been showing me how to become a living sacrifice, and using me in so many different ways, He has been grooming me for the man I know He wants me to become for Him. I was overwhelmed with excitement when I received my call to missions, to fulfill this calling the Lord has led me to join the World Race, an 11 month mission trip that spans the globe, seeking to bring good news to the poor, loose the bonds of wickedness, mend the brokenhearted, and proclaim liberty to the captives (Isaiah 58 & 61).
The trip is through Adventures in Missions and the program weds together ministry, adventure, community, self-discovery, and spiritual growth. Specifically, my team will encounter the lepers of India, the orphans of Nepal, the sex slaves of Thailand, the refugees of Cambodia, the widows of Kenya, the child soldiers of Uganda, the gypsies of Romania, the oppressed of Ukraine, and the lost of three other undisclosed countries.
I desire to be the hands and feet of Christ, advancing the Kingdom of Heaven and proclaiming the Gospel of Grace. In order to do this I am raising up a team of friends who will stand with me in prayer and financial support. I would like to invite you to partner with me in ministry and be a part of the global awakening that ushers in Christ’s return. I will be contacting you soon once you have had time to pray about this opportunity, and I look forward to talking with you further about what God has planned.
My greatest desire is to become “A Living Sacrifice” Romans 12:1-2. God has given me a real Passion for missions and a love for those desiring to grow in Christ. I have longed for a chance to share the gospel in a place where people are aching with a hunger for it. During this trip, I will be discipled and trained in various areas of ministry and missions. I truly believe that this is my first major step into missions.
I thank God for this opportunity that He has blessed me with and trust He will meet ALL of my needs. Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. I would be honored if you could partner financially and prayerfully with me in this ministry. I am specifically asking for five people who will commit to pray for me each day until I return in August 2011. Also, I must raise a total of $14,300 for this mission trip. This will cover everything needed for the trip, travel, food, board, everything excluding spending money, Gear needed for the trip and the medical insurance required. I am very excited about how God will use me and you, and for what He will teach me through this experience. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve on this mission, but also to you.
