Thank You!

So last Friday on 2/26, I was at work (I am a server at O’ Charlies). Anyway, It was a regular Friday night. I had just got off from my morning shift and and was about to come back on, when I felt the need to pray. So I went somewhere quiet and prayed. Then I clocked in and started serving. After a couple hours I was about to get off work! I cleaned all my tables and finished up all my side work. It was time for me to cash out! So sat down and counted my money, when i realized I was missing about $100. I looked everywhere, but I couldn’t find it. I was so mad. So I sat down and prayed that God would take away my anger, because i knew being angry about  it would not help find the lost money, but It seemed I couldn’t get rid of my anger. A little while later I was talking to another server telling him what had happened, when i remembered what i prayed before i started working.  You see God has been trying to teach me that there is nothing to big or too small for Him. What I prayed just hours earlier was this: I asked God to be with me, to shine His light through me, I said God You are my provider and I want only what You want me to have. So Father supply me with what I need tonight and nothing more. I prayed that I would walk out the doors of O’ Charlies with only the amount of money He wanted me to have. Once I remembered this all the anger I had toward the situation was gone. I realized that God was in control of the situation. He is my provider! I realized that if I had left with all that money, I would have thought that I did great, but God wanted me to see that He is great. I am so thankful for this! It was awesome to see that God is always with me. That I can come to him whenever i need him. That He will always provide me with what I need in this life, And that there is Nothing to big or too small for Him.

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. – 1 Timothy 6:17
