So after the 3rd month of the World Race, the squad has team changes. Part of the reason they do this is because it takes you out of your comfort zone, and helps you to remember that you are a squad not a team. It is also because after month 4 the Squad leaders that we have now go back to the states and new squad leaders are raised up  from the squad and need to be trained with makes certain teams not have a team leader and causes team changes. I don’t know a lot about the process of how they decided upon these changes, but I do know that they have been in prayer about this since even before we launched in October and that they seek the Lord fervently. I also know that the changes that are made are God’s will and that, this is going to be an amazing team.

So without further a due…

Meet Team Rush!

Wait..! I forgot something. Let me tell you where our team name came from.

Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory. The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. The glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east. Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.

Ezekiel 43:1-5

We are rushing Water, filling each and every country with the love of God

Chelsea Angel.

Is a Woman who know who she is and what God wants from her. She is not afraid of confrontation, she hears what the Lord is saying and says it. She is constantly calling you out, trying to help you grow into what God is calling you to. AND…is also crazy fun and totally random which I am super excited about, since I am too. I am very thankful to have her as a part of this new team. and cannot wait to hear what the Lord is saying through her. Oh! and I almost forgot she is a massage therapist.

Angela Aston

Seems to be very shy but you can tell from being around her that she is a crazy bundle of fun. Before the WR she was a Starbucks barista. I haven’t had many deep conversations with her yet, but one thing that I love about her are her prayers. She has such a love for God and that comes out through her prayers. She is so sincere, and full of love. When she prays everything seems to fall away and it is known to me that it is just her and her Father, Which is amazing. Oh yeah, When team changes were being announced and I heard that she and I were going to be on a team together I filled with so much excitement and I have no idea why, since up to that point we had never talked. I cannot wait to get to know her more.

Dawn Gorczynski

You remember Dawn right? haha. Dawn was on my previous team, and we will remain on the same team. Let me tell you a little about Dawn, as if you didn’t know if you’ve read her blogs. she is am amazing women, and totally seeking after God’s heart. She has an incredibly deep faith, and love for her Father. When I think about Dawn I get an image of her a a rhino running at full speed after God knocking everything aside that Satan throws at her. She is a very strong women, and I don’t believe she has the capability to ever give up. I am blessed to be able to continue this journey alongside her.

Ashley Peterson

Well well well… as you probably remember Ashley was on my team before. She is super fun and such a joy to be around. It is honestly hard to be down while you’re around her. She is such an encourager, she is always trying to hear what it is that God is saying and loves to build people up, and encourage them. Ashley also loves to worship and watching her do that is so much fun, because everything does disappear and it becomes a time for her to sing to her Father.

Brooks Elliot

is my faithful team leader, and will continue to be. Thank God for that. I am truly blessed to have him as a leader. I can follow him so easily because he seeks the Lord in everything he does, and I know that when he says something, that it is from the Lord. I have learned a lot since I’ve left on this journey back in October. One thing that I love about brooks is that he is so willing to give everything he has to follow the Lord, with all his heart. I love this man as my brother.
