"Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you."

With my inexperience in interpretation, I feel that this essentially says – "all that you give, God will give back to you." Well, how does this apply to you? Let me set the scene. Perhaps you are one of the following:
- a parent
- a student
- committed to your career
- think mission trips aren't necessary
- don't believe in God
Whatever reason you are not able to commit to an 11 month missionary journey, I can. This isn't a vacation. This isn't an escape from reality. This is a choice for me to live a year of my life loving everyone I encounter, those who most people ignore and abandon. I'm definitely not alone on this either. I have God, and I have you. You can become such a huge part in this journey by supporting me. For everything I will do, every life I encounter and love, will be on your behalf. You have an opportunity of taking part in God's work in the world. "Give, and it will be given to you… it will be measured back to you." If you are able to give, do so knowing God's will shall be fulfilled through me in the countries I'm assigned.
