Deadline #1: $3,500
God is saying to me "You've had it easy these past few years. Receiving my gifts from expectations. Now, I want you to trust Me. Now, I want you to depend on Me. Michael, come to Me."
As I'm typing up this blog, I'm watching a YouTube video of Francis Chan and his sermon "Is God Listening To Your Prayers"
And as I talk with God (Note: talk with God, not to God), we talk about my difficulties in trusting in Him. We talk about preparing for the World Race. No matter what worldly doubt I face about fundraising and whether I should or shouldn't go on the World Race, God tells me to trust in Him.
God tells me He will provide.
So it's coming down to the wire. I'm in need of about $1,900 to be able to attend training camp. And as I've gone about my day within the last 2 weeks just stressing over fundraising for the first deadline (I can't even imagine stressing over the $15,500 as a whole), God just says "Michael, do not worry about the money. The money is already there. The money will be provided, by Me. So go, love and serve My people."
And so I will go. I don't need to stress about money and doubt the fact that I will go, because God has lead me to this life changing journey.
You also have a part to play in this journey. I belong to a community that prays (Shout out to Warehouse 242!!), and prayer is my strongest need for this journey. Praying to our Creator, our Father, that God will use me in His kingdom to love and serve every person. Praying for my team, that we can work together in sharing Jesus with the world.
