So i have a little over a week now. Seems crazy but God is really moving here.
When I first got to Gainesville, I had a great time meeting my roommates and getting to know them. Surprisingly we are all pretty similar and are becoming very close. On Sunday we split up into teams of about 8 and left for the mountains. Yes you guessed it we were going hiking and camping
.
So i was not looking forward to that at all. I love the out doors but not so much camping part of it. The experience was great and it was a great time of getting to know some of the other CGA people.
During this period in the words God really spoke to me. He showed me that I was looking at this time as just a transitional period before i go back overseas. He wants me to take this time and view it as if I was on the first leg of the journey and that if I didn’t have this leg I would not be able to get anywhere else. This was a big slap in the face but really opened my eyes to see what God is doing and going to do in these next few months.
Now that we are back from camping we have been going through orientation to prepare us for when we start our training classes on Tuesday.
I want to thank my Supports for supporting me and helping me so far.
My first deadline on October 1st is coming up fast and I still need $1400 to meet that deadline. I know God is going to provide because He has already done it numerous times. If 30 people will help me by donating a one time gift of $50 I will love you forever and ever
