Before you start reading, play this song! It's our camp theme song.  Cheyanne made up an awesome dance to it. 🙂

Today is the last night at Training Camp and I can't believe it.  It's bittersweet. This week has been one of the toughest, but also one of the best. We were tested on so many different levels: spiritually, physically, metally.  I had heard that the goal of Training Camp was to get all of your "junk" out before you head out on the race.  Mission complete. I have been dealing with some stuff for years now. Stuff that really broke me.  And I felt God release me of it.  I felt at peace. I felt free of the hurt I had been carrying with me for half a decade. That night, our squad had a dance party in the lecture hall.  I felt drunk. No joke.  When I told my team leaders about it, they said you can be "drunk in the spirit".  New concept to me.  One of my squadmates asked me if I needed help getting back to my tent that night.  She asked me if I needed a "DW": designanted walker. 🙂 It was the craziest feeling. I can't wait for it to happen again. Training Camp was the best week of my life. I met so many amazing, strong people that are now family to me. I cannot wait to start this 11 month journey with them and with God.
