HI, MY NAME IS MICAH

I live in Atlanta and before the race, worked in public broadcasting (gotta love some PBS). A lot of my friends compare me to Jennifer Aniston’s character in Along Came Polly – I guess I’m all over the place. But hey, I’m just trying to find my purpose!
My dog, Ruby, rocks. She’s pretty much the cutest thing in the entire worldd. Right?? My parents are going to watch her for me this year. So thankful because, although she looks sweet and innocent, she is actually pretty cray (who trains dogs anyways??).
Here are some of my favorite things…
Ruby, musica, all animals, exploring, my family, eating (mostly Thai and an occasional burrito), harry potter, exploring new cities (London – I die), hanging out with friends, tossing dat frisbee, hummus, 90’s kids movies (any Camp Nowhere fans out there??), making terrible/awesome movies with my brother (don’t ask; actually, ask – I’ll give you our youtube channel), scary movies (The Bad Seed inspired me to be a writer/screenwriter as a tween), 90’s music, 90’s everything, thrift stores, old records, seeing my favorite bands live, good notebooks, a good pen, the color blue, SEQUINS, costumes, playing the drums/ukulele, Dinah Washington, really good singers, old people, outdoors/river by my parents house, coffee, strong coffee, iced coffee, coffeemate, coffee cake, i love coffee, my brothers (Joshy & Joely).

This whole “putting all of your faith in God” thing is new to me. I grew up going to church. My family loves Jesus. But I’ve always done my own thing. It wasn’t till after college that I started to think that there might be more to this Christian thing than just going to church. Through my job, I met some friends who were on fire for God. I was jealous! I wanted that! I didn’t really understand it, but I knew I wanted it. So I decided that it was time to make a change – it was time to dive into a relationship with Him. So that’s what I’ve done, and boy, has He shown me a thing or two. My God is bigger and greater than I could have ever imagined, and I want to shout it from z rooftopsssss.
Now I’ll leave you with one of my favorites:
