Hey Folks!
So you may have seen on Facebook or on other blogs, but at the end of April our squad had team changes!
Team changes are common on the race. It just provides a chance to meet and grow closer with new people, and also keeps you focused on growing personally. The world race is a crazy adventure, but just like with anything in life, it can become comfortable and even monotonous in a sense.
I greatly enjoyed my time with Team Meno! They will forever be remembered as my first world race family! Derek, Chris, Amy, Heather, Civanna, and Carrie were great partners as we did ministry and experienced incredible things throughout Africa and Europe! I’m thankful that the Lord placed us together, and it is amazing to see how close he brought us in just four short months.
Now that season has passed, and I’m excited about this new season and new adventures with my new team, Team Change! Why are we called team change? Well, A. We are a product of team changes, so we thought that it was funny. B. We all have specific areas in which we are desiring for God to change our hearts as we continue our ministry on the race, and C. We want to be agents of change in the places that we go and with people that we meet! I’m excited to see how we are able to experience these changes as we embark on this journey together!
Team Change consists of (in order of the picture below) Derek Carlson (from Team Meno as well), Liz Whitfield (from Team Without Borders), Will Taylor (from Team Zoa), Kimberly Webb, Michelle Calderon, Brooke Wright (all from Team Without Borders), and myself (from Team Meno)! We all come from different backgrounds and walks of life, so it will be cool to see what the Lord has in store for us as a community!

Thank you for your continued prayers and support, and be on the lookout for blog posts and updates from my new team!
The FINAL fundraising deadline is fast approaching! We are only about 7 weeks away! I'm still needing around $3,000 in order to be able to complete my race, and I know the Lord will provide if it is in His will. Please consider donating using the "Donate Here" link on the left side of my page. Thank you for your consideration, and thank you all for your prayers and support! I couldn't be doing this if it weren't for you!!
